Strolling through the quaint streets around Galle Fort, it is very evident in the architecture that this town has had a huge European influence when it was constructed. In contrast to the other towns and villages we visited along the way in Sri Lanka, Galle has such a different feel about it rooted in an amazing mix of culture, history and religion which make it a truly unique and beautiful place.
