One of the highlights of the trip was watching the wild elephants roam the grasslands of Uda Walawe National Park. For two hours we travelled around the park via jeep keeping our eyes out for any elephant sightings, we were lucky enough to see a couple of baby elephants up close – emotions were at an all time high! Although the park is perfect for game spotting, the elephants stole our hearts!
